Graduating from University of Queensland in 1998 with MBBS (1st year Hons), Dr Wendy went on to pursue a career in surgical training with the Royal Australiasian College of Surgeons

She spent 4 years training in General Surgery, and a further 4 years in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery as an Advanced Trainee in various accredited posts throughout Australia

Now Dr Wendy is a fully qualified GP with RACGP Australia. Throughout her 28+ years of continuous medical practice, Dr Wendy has worked in various areas of cardiac, vascular, hand, breast and microsurgery. She continues to assist Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon, Dr Eddie Cheng, today at the Wesley Hospital

She also worked with Dr Nicole Limberg, neurologist, at Migraine Specialist providing holistic care and injectable therapies to migraine sufferers

After 7 years practising as a general GP at Oxford Street Medical Centre, Bulimba, she has chosen to narrow her focus and return to her first love, which is facial aesthetics

Since 2010, Dr Wendy has been working in various aesthetic clinics in Brisbane and the Gold Coast such as Esteem, B Clinics and Artisan Rosalie & Bulimba. In 2021, she opened her own boutique medispa, The Ivy Clinic, located at West End. Here she focuses on facial harmonisation and body contouring treatments; delivering safe and effective treatments for all her patients, sometimes working in consultation with plastic surgeons to facilitate complete outcomes across non-surgical and surgical disciplines

She also attained a certificate in Acupressure Massage from ACNM at the age of 16 and a certificate in Makeup from Napoleon Perdis so she could volunteer for “Look Good, Feel Better” survivors of breast cancer

With over 18 years of experience in the aesthetic industry, Jerbi Cheuk has worked alongside leading dermatologists and cosmetic specialists across Hong Kong and Australia

Her career began in 2008 at SkinCentral Dermatology Aesthetics and Lasers, followed by roles at E‑Lab Beauty Centre and MedicSkin Medical Skincare Centre. She was trained by Dr Tinny Ho, dermatologist, in a wide of medical and aesthetic treatments including: lasergenesis, laser hair removal and microdermabrasion; as well as cryotherapy, Ulthera HIFU, thermage and medical Photo Dynamic Therapy (PDT)

At MedicSkin, Jerbi expanded on her treatment offerings to include Clear & Brilliant laser treatments as well as assisting Dr David Lam, Senior Cosmetic Doctor, among other doctors with injectable treatments

She then served as Clinical Trainer for Hong Kong and Macau at InMode HK, training clinicians on advanced devices including Morpheus8, Lumecca, Forma, and Forma‑I, while also delivering treatments using these technologies

Now based in Brisbane at The Ivy Clinic, she brings this wealth of experience to assist Dr Wendy Wong. She has expertise in Morpheus8 and Lumecca/IPL treatments, with a particular focus on Asian skin, ensuring safe, effective, and natural-looking results for every patient
